ANCHOR Wipeout!

Pentagon Pirates: Emma Ledingham, Sarah Palmer, Donna Bain, Alan Buck, Penny Milne, Stuart Webster, David Marshall, Allan McKinnon, Barry Mullin and Slawomir Wojciechowski

On Saturday 24th August a team from Pentagon Freight Aberdeen took part in a charity Wipeout event organised by Friends of ANCHOR. The event at Hazlehead Park saw the ‘Pentagon Pirates’ take part on a number of different activities including obstacle courses, ball pools, bouncy castles and crawling under army nets, all whilst wearing fancy dress costumes – making these challenging games even more entertaining.

Despite the weather letting the team down and a couple of minor injuries, the Pentagon Pirates had a great day out. They raised a total of £833.20 for the charity, which provides support for patients with all forms of cancer throughout the North East of Scotland. The team would like to thank everyone who sponsored them or came along on the day to cheer them on.
