ONS22! Pentagon Freight Services Norway

ONS22 was arranged in Stavanger, Norway from August 29th to September 1st for the first time since 2018.

Pentagon participated again as Exhibitor together with our partners from GCE Node.

The main theme of this year’s conference was “TRUST” focusing on transition towards renewable energy along with technology and innovation. ONS22 attracted over 60,000 visitors from 82 countries.

It had over 1000 speakers on stage covering energy security, renewable energy, oil & gas, politics, and the road towards net zero. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway opened ONS 2022 and was followed by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

It was also visited by several prominent guests and a highly relevant line-up of speaker speakers such as Elon Musk, the current and former Prime Ministers of Norway, and CEOs of several larger companies and clients.

The GCE Node stand was very well visited during the conference and allowed for a full presentation of Pentagon by Managing Director, Lars Grimestad.

Several staff from Norway participated and Ashley Taylor, David Wilson, Michael Stal and Daniel Becci visited from the UK.

As you can see from some of the photos, we attracted a lot of attention with our own Pentagon RC truck which resulted in some interesting conversations and a lot of fun!

The “Pentagon Reception” was held on Tuesday evening and over 200 of our clients and partners joined us for an informal get together.

We are confident that the ONS22 again served as an excellent opportunity to showcase our capabilities along with a perfect venue for networking both internally and externally.

Thanks to all participants!
