AOA White Collar Boxing Charity Event

For the second straight year Pentagon Calgary was a lead sponsor of the AOA White Collar Boxing Charity Event.

Oil & gas and service company employees faced off in the squared circle against local law enforcement and emergency services personnel, in a fully sanctioned Alberta Amateur Boxing match. The contenders were divided into two teams, and battled the distance in a show-card that constituted ten fights, including two women’s bouts.

The event featured Canadian Heavyweight Legend and Hall of Famer George Chuvalo, with former UFC Talent, Nick Ring, and current Canadian Champion Steve “The Dragon” Claggett who joined this year.

The charity event was a sell-out with an estimated 900-1000 in attendance. $18,000 was raised, with the proceeds going to support Local Community Links programs, Foodbank, Victims Assistance, and Kidsport. PFS Calgary are very happy to support this event, which in addition to assisting the many charities, also provided great exposure for the Pentagon Brand.
